Before you paste anything
How do I get my own copy of a widget on this site?
Hit Customize on any widget. It opens that widget in the Fugte editor with its controls already set up, and you can change the text, colours, dates and images straight away without an account. Signing in saves it as your own copy, separate from the one on this site, with its own embed line.
Do I need an account before I can change anything?
No. Customize loads the widget and lets you edit it without signing in. You only need an account at the point where you want to keep your version or publish it.
If I copy a widget, does it change when this site changes its version?
No. Saving creates a separate copy in your account, and it stops tracking the original from that moment. The only case where a widget stays linked is if you paste the embed line shown on this site directly, which points at this site's widget rather than yours.
Where can I embed these widgets?
Anywhere that accepts an iframe or an HTML block, which covers Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, Notion, Canva sites, Framer and a plain HTML page. The embed is one line, and it is the same line on every platform.
Can I change a widget after it is on my page?
Yes, and that is the point of building it in Fugte rather than pasting code from a chatbot. Text, prices, images, dates and colours become form controls in Customize. Editing one updates the widget everywhere it is embedded, with no change to the page it sits on and no developer.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the widget you want and Fugte builds it, or you paste code you already have and Fugte splits it into files. From then on the parts you marked as editable are form fields.
What does it cost?
Building and embedding widgets is free, with a small Fugte badge on the widget. Removing the badge is a one-time payment of $9.99, with no recurring fee.
Are the widgets on this site free to use?
Yes. Every widget shown here can be copied into your own Fugte account and edited from there, so you start from a working widget instead of a blank editor. Building and embedding your copy is free.
Will an embedded widget slow my page down?
Each widget loads in its own iframe with lazy loading, so it does not block the page around it and it only loads once a visitor scrolls near it.
